Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Cytoglobin (CYB5B) is a member of the globin family that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including oxygen transport and storage, as well as cellular redox reactions. Research into CYB5B has gained significant attention due to its potential involvement in metabolic regulation and its protective roles in oxidative stress. It is predominantly expressed in the endoplasmic reticulum of cells, where it is believed to participate in nitric oxide metabolism and lipid metabolism. The recombinant production of CYB5B protein has become a focal point for scientists aiming to elucidate its specific functions and mechanisms. The availability of purified CYB5B can facilitate studies on its interactions with other molecules and its role in biological systems, including its influence on cellular signaling pathways. Understanding CYB5B's structure-function relationships could provide insights into its contribution to health and disease, particularly in conditions related to oxidative stress and metabolic disorders. Consequently, the exploration of CYB5B as a therapeutic target or biomarker is also gaining traction, making it a promising candidate for further research in the fields of biochemistry, cell biology, and medicine.
