Analytical Data

  • Gene name

    SIRP gamma

  • 简介

SIRP γ protein is a possible immunoglobulin-like cell surface receptor that mediates cell-cell adhesion by binding to CD47. This interaction enhances antigen-specific T cell proliferation and provides costimulatory signals for T cell activation, highlighting the role of SIRP gamma in regulating immune responses. SIRP gamma Protein, Human (HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived SIRP gamma protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His, C-Avi labeled tag.

  • Customization

Site-directed mutagenesis Custom tag design Custom buffer formulation Custom full-length protein production

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SIRP gamma (Signal Regulatory Protein gamma) is a member of the SIRP family, which plays critical roles in immune regulation and cellular signaling. These proteins are known to interact with CD47, a widely expressed "don't eat me" signal on cell surfaces, thus regulating macrophage activity and immune responses. SIRP gamma specifically is expressed in various immune cells and is implicated in the modulation of T-cell activity, dendritic cell function, and overall immune homeostasis. The study of SIRP gamma, particularly its recombinant forms, offers insights into its structural and functional characteristics, which may have therapeutic implications for enhancing immune responses in cancer therapy and improving outcomes in infectious diseases. Recent advancements in protein engineering techniques have enabled the production of SIRP gamma as a recombinant protein, allowing researchers to investigate its binding properties, signaling pathways, and potential as a drug target. Understanding the mechanisms by which SIRP gamma influences immune cell interactions can reveal novel strategies for manipulating the immune system in clinical settings, particularly in devising effective immunotherapies and vaccines. As immune evasion is a significant hurdle in cancer treatment, uncovering the role of SIRP gamma could lead to innovative approaches to reinvigorate the immune system's ability to recognize and eliminate tumor cells. Hence, SIRP gamma recombinant protein research is poised to contribute significantly to the field of immunology and translational medicine.
