简介
KIR3DL2/CD158k is expressed on NK and T cells and recognizes MHC class I, specifically the peptide-free open conformer of HLA-F. Binding to HLA-F negatively regulates NK and T cell effector functions, thereby complexly modulating immune responses. KIR3DL2/CD158k Protein, Rhesus macaque (HEK293, His) is the recombinant Rhesus Macaque-derived KIR3DL2/CD158k protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LAMP5 (Lysosomal-associated membrane protein 5) is a member of the LAMP protein family, which plays a crucial role in lysosomal function and cellular homeostasis. This protein is primarily expressed in the nervous system, where it has been implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including lysosomal trafficking, neurodegeneration, and immune responses. Recent studies have highlighted that LAMP5 may influence neuroinflammatory pathways and affect neuronal survival, suggesting its potential involvement in neurological disorders. The research on LAMP5 recombinatorial proteins aims to elucidate their structure-function relationships and interaction networks, which could provide insights into their roles in disease mechanisms. Additionally, characterizing LAMP5’s interactions with other cellular components may offer new therapeutic targets for treating diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, and other neurodegenerative disorders. By generating recombinant LAMP5 proteins, researchers are able to explore its biochemical properties, cellular localizations, and potential signaling pathways, which are essential for understanding its functions in health and disease. Overall, LAMP5 remains a promising subject of investigation within the fields of cell biology and neurobiology due to its multifaceted roles and implications for human health.
