简介
The BSP2 protein has strong hydroxyapatite-binding ability and is a component of the mineralized matrix, shaping the structural framework of tissues. Its association implies a crucial role in cell-matrix interactions, affecting both physical and functional aspects. BSP2 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived BSP2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BSP2, or Bone Sialoprotein 2, is a member of the small integrin-binding ligand, N-linked glycoprotein (SIBLING) family, which plays a crucial role in bone and dental mineralization processes. The study of BSP2 is significant because it is implicated in various physiological and pathological conditions, including bone development, remodeling, and diseases such as osteoporosis and osteosarcoma. This protein is expressed primarily in osteoblasts and odontoblasts, where it facilitates the binding of cells to the extracellular matrix and promotes mineralization. Research into BSP2 has expanded in recent years, focusing on its potential as a biomarker for bone health and disease, as well as its role in enhancing the regenerative capacity of bone tissue. Recombinant BSP2 proteins are being developed to better understand its functional mechanisms and interactions within the bone microenvironment. By exploring the structure, function, and therapeutic potential of BSP2, researchers aim to uncover new insights into bone biology and advance treatment strategies for skeletal disorders. The ongoing investigation into recombinant forms of BSP2 provides a platform for developing targeted therapies that harness the protein's unique properties to improve bone healing and regeneration.
