Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CNTN6 (Contactin 6) is a member of the contactin family of proteins, which are implicated in the development and function of the nervous system. Characterized by their role in neuronal adhesion and signaling, CNTN6 has garnered attention due to its involvement in various neurological diseases, including schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders. Recent studies suggest that CNTN6 may influence neural circuit formation and synaptic function, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. However, the mechanisms underlying its function remain poorly understood, necessitating further investigation into CNTN6's structure, interaction partners, and regulatory pathways. The production of recombinant CNTN6 proteins facilitates detailed biophysical and biochemical studies, allowing researchers to dissect its role in neurodevelopment and its contribution to disease pathogenesis. Understanding CNTN6's function may provide new insights into the molecular underpinnings of neural disorders and lead to potential innovations in therapeutic strategies.
