Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAMTS16 (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase with Thrombospondin Motifs 16) is a member of the ADAMTS family, which plays a crucial role in the remodeling of the extracellular matrix and the processing of various biologically active molecules. The study of ADAMTS16 has gained significance due to its involvement in several pathological conditions, including ovarian dysfunction and potentially contributing to conditions related to reproductive health. It is particularly interesting because genetic variations in ADAMTS16 have been associated with kidney diseases and may influence susceptibility to other disorders. Recent research focuses on characterizing the recombinant ADAMTS16 protein to understand its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and potential therapeutic applications. Enhanced understanding of ADAMTS16 could provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms in extracellular matrix dynamics and lead to the development of novel strategies for treating related diseases. The production of recombinant ADAMTS16 is also critical for functional studies, and investigations are ongoing to explore its role in cell signaling pathways and interactions with other extracellular matrix components. By elucidating the function of ADAMTS16, researchers aim to establish its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target, paving the way for advancements in clinical interventions for related diseases.
