简介
STAT3 is a signal transducer and transcriptional activator that coordinates diverse cellular processes in response to growth factors and cytokines such as interleukin-6 and KITLG/SCF. Upon activation, STAT3 recruits coactivators to target gene promoters, thereby affecting proliferation, differentiation, and immune responses. STAT3 Protein, Human (His-Sumo) is the recombinant human-derived STAT3 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His, N-SUMO labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STAT3 (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3) is a crucial transcription factor that plays a pivotal role in mediating cellular responses to various extracellular signals, including cytokines and growth factors. Its aberrant activation is commonly associated with numerous diseases, particularly cancer, where it promotes cell survival, proliferation, and immune evasion. Due to its central role in oncogenesis and tumor progression, STAT3 has emerged as a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Research into the recombinant expression of STAT3 proteins has provided valuable insights into its structure-function relationships and the mechanisms underlying its activation and regulation. By producing STAT3 in a recombinant form, scientists can investigate its interactions with other proteins, its post-translational modifications, and its nuclear translocation processes. This research has substantial implications for developing targeted therapies aimed at inhibiting STAT3 activity in malignant cells. Furthermore, elucidating the functional dynamics of STAT3 through recombinant studies can lead to the identification of novel biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, thereby enhancing personalized medicine approaches. Overall, the study of recombinant STAT3 proteins serves as a foundational step in advancing our understanding of its role in cellular signaling and combating disease.
