Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TIC2, or Toll-interleukin 1 receptor (TIR) domain-containing adapter protein 2, plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a signaling adaptor in various pathways, particularly in the response to type I interferons and other cytokines. Its function is essential for the activation of downstream signaling cascades that mediate inflammation and immune responses, which are critical in the context of infections and autoimmune diseases. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of TIC2 in modulating the immune system's balance, making it a potential therapeutic target for diseases associated with aberrant immune responses. The recombination and production of TIC2 protein allow for the in-depth study of its structure-function relationships, interactions with other proteins, and its role in immune signaling pathways. Research into TIC2 can provide insights into its mechanisms of action and how it influences the immune system, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies in treating inflammatory diseases and enhancing vaccine responses. Understanding TIC2's role at the molecular level could lead to significant advancements in immunotherapy and the development of more effective treatments for various immunological disorders. As researchers continue to explore TIC2 through recombinant protein expression and characterization, the potential for discovering new interventions to modulate immune responses holds great promise for future therapeutic applications.
