Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPS6Kb1, also known as ribosomal protein S6 kinase beta-1, is a crucial component of the mTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin) signaling pathway, which plays a vital role in cellular growth, proliferation, and survival. This serine/threonine kinase is involved in the phosphorylation of ribosomal protein S6, among other substrates, thereby influencing protein synthesis and cell metabolism. Dysregulation of RPS6Kb1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, making it an important target for therapeutic intervention. Given its central role in translational control and cellular responses to growth signals, researchers focus on the recombinant expression of RPS6Kb1 to better understand its functional mechanisms and interactions within signaling networks. Studies utilizing recombinant RPS6Kb1 can provide insights into its enzymatic activities, regulatory functions, and how its dysregulation contributes to disease pathologies. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationships of RPS6Kb1 through recombinant protein studies can facilitate the design of specific inhibitors or modulators, opening new avenues for targeted treatments in conditions linked to mTOR pathway abnormalities. As such, the investigation of RPS6Kb1 not only enhances our knowledge of fundamental cellular processes but also holds promise for clinical applications in therapeutic strategies aimed at correcting mTOR-related disorders.
