简介
The PDILT protein is a possible redox-inactive chaperone essential in spermatogenesis, forming non-disulfide-linked homodimers. Its role emphasizes its importance in male germ cell development. PDILT Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PDILT protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDILT (Protein Disulfide Isomerase-Like Protein) is a member of the protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) family and plays a critical role in the proper folding and maturation of proteins within the endoplasmic reticulum. It is particularly important for the development of secretory proteins by facilitating the formation of disulfide bonds, which are essential for the structural stability and functionality of many proteins. Research into PDILT has gained momentum due to its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where protein misfolding and aggregation are prevalent. The study of PDILT at the molecular level can provide insights into its enzymatic mechanisms and its interactions with substrates, contributing to a better understanding of the quality control system in the endoplasmic reticulum. Moreover, reconstituting PDILT as a recombinant protein allows researchers to explore its properties and functions in vitro, paving the way for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing protein folding pathways. By elucidating the role of PDILT in the cellular context, researchers aim to uncover novel approaches to counteract the effects of protein misfolding diseases, enhancing both basic science and clinical applications in the field of molecular biology and medicinal chemistry.
