简介
ULBP-6/RAET1L Protein, a key immune response modulator, activates the KLRK1/NKG2D receptor, triggering natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity. This engagement is pivotal for the immune system's defense against threats, showcasing ULBP-6/RAET1L's orchestration of NK cell responses. Its specificity is highlighted by the absence of a binding association with beta2-microglobulin in molecular interactions. ULBP-6/RAET1L Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived ULBP-6/RAET1L protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ULBP-6 (UL16 binding protein 6) is a member of the ULBP family, which are ligands for the NKG2D receptor, expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and certain T cells. The interaction between ULBP-6 and NKG2D plays a significant role in immune responses, particularly in recognizing and eliminating infected or malignant cells. RAET1L (retinoic acid early transcript 1-like) is another ligand that shares similarities with ULBP proteins and also interacts with NKG2D, contributing to immune regulation. In recent years, the study of ULBP-6 and RAET1L has garnered attention due to their potential implications in cancer immunotherapy and transplant rejection. Understanding the molecular mechanisms behind their interactions with immune cells can provide insights into new therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating immune responses. The recombinant proteins ULBP-6 and RAET1L are being employed in various research settings to elucidate their biological functions, identify potential epitope targets for vaccines, and explore their roles in maintaining immune homeostasis. By investigating these interactions, researchers aim to develop novel approaches to enhance anti-tumor immunity and improve outcomes in immune-related diseases. The production and characterization of ULBP-6/RAET1L recombinant proteins is thus crucial for advancing our understanding of their roles in immune evasion and potential therapeutic applications.
