Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HGS (Hepatocyte Growth Factor-regulated Tyrosine Kinase Substrate) is a key adaptor protein involved in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, growth, and migration. Its role in cellular functions makes it a significant subject of research in the context of cancer biology, particularly since alterations in HGS expression or function can influence tumor progression and metastasis. In recent years, the study of HGS has gained momentum due to its potential as a therapeutic target. Researchers are focusing on the structure-function relationship of HGS, exploring how its interactions with other proteins and cell membrane components modulate signaling pathways. Additionally, the development of recombinant HGS proteins offers a valuable tool for understanding its biological mechanisms and for potential applications in diagnostics and therapeutics. This research seeks to elucidate the precise roles of HGS in normal and pathological conditions, paving the way for innovative strategies in treating diseases linked to HGS dysregulation. By employing recombinant technology, scientists can produce purified HGS proteins for in vitro analyses, enabling them to dissect the protein's involvement in cellular processes and its implications in disease contexts, thereby contributing to the broader field of molecular biology and therapeutic development.
