简介
Cadherin-10/CDH10 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule in the cadherin family that participates in preferential homophilic interactions and promotes self-association between adjacent cells. This suggests a key role in mediating cell adhesion and may aid in sorting heterogeneous cell types. Cadherin-10/CDH10 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived Cadherin-10/CDH10 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Cadherin-10 (CDH10) is a member of the cadherin superfamily, which consists of calcium-dependent adhesion proteins that play crucial roles in cell-cell adhesion, differentiation, and tissue morphology. CDH10 is particularly important in the central nervous system, where it is implicated in synaptic formation and neuronal connectivity. Dysregulation of cadherins has been associated with various neurodevelopmental disorders and cancers, making CDH10 a potential target for therapeutic intervention and biomarker identification. Recent studies have highlighted the role of CDH10 in synaptic plasticity and its interactions with other synaptic proteins, underscoring its importance in neural circuit formation and function. The production of recombinant CDH10 proteins allows researchers to delve deeper into its biochemical properties, structural characteristics, and functional roles in cellular contexts. This research not only enhances our understanding of CDH10’s role in health and disease but also paves the way for potential applications in regenerative medicine and targeted therapies for disorders linked to cadherin dysfunction. Consequently, investigating CDH10 through the lens of recombinant protein studies is essential for unraveling its contributions to neurobiology and developing strategies for therapeutic interventions.
