  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Cadherin-3, also known as P-cadherin, is a member of the cadherin family of proteins, which are essential for cellular adhesion and tissue morphogenesis. This protein plays a critical role in maintaining the structural integrity of tissues and mediating cell-cell interactions. Research has shown that Cadherin-3 is involved in various physiological processes, including embryonic development and tissue patterning. It is primarily expressed in epithelial tissues and has been implicated in the progression of certain cancers, particularly in promoting epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), a key process that facilitates tumor invasion and metastasis. Understanding the structure and function of Cadherin-3, particularly through the study of recombinant proteins, is crucial for elucidating its role in disease states and development. Recombinant Cadherin-3 proteins can be generated for various applications, such as studying binding affinities, elucidating signaling pathways, and exploring potential therapeutic targets. Additionally, the study of Cadherin-3 offers insights into the mechanisms of cell adhesion and differentiation, making it a significant focus for research in developmental biology and cancer therapeutics. Given its relevance, ongoing investigations aim to characterize Cadherin-3 interactions at the molecular level, assess its expression patterns under physiological and pathological conditions, and evaluate its potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis.
