简介
APCDD1 protein, a homodimer, negatively regulates the Wnt signaling pathway, acting cell-autonomously upstream of beta-catenin. Implicated in colorectal tumorigenesis, it interacts with LRP5 and WNT3A, suggesting involvement in complex interactions with Wnt and LRP proteins. APCDD1's pivotal role is evident in its contribution to intricate regulatory mechanisms governing Wnt signaling. APCDD1 Protein, Human (466a.a, HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived APCDD1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APCDD1 (Adenomatous Polyposis Coli Down-Regulated 1) is a protein that has garnered significant attention due to its potential role in cancer biology and cellular signaling pathways. Initially identified as a down-regulated gene in colorectal cancer, APCDD1 has been implicated in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its expression patterns suggest a multifaceted role in tumor suppression and developmental regulation, making it a candidate for further investigation in the context of cancer therapy. Research has shown that APCDD1 interacts with the Wnt signaling pathway, which is critical for embryonic development and has been found to be dysregulated in several malignancies. Understanding the structure and function of APCDD1, particularly through recombinant protein studies, is essential for elucidating its molecular mechanisms and exploring its therapeutic potential. By producing and characterizing recombinant APCDD1, researchers aim to uncover its functional properties, interaction partners, and downstream effects on cellular behavior. This knowledge could contribute to the development of innovative strategies for cancer treatment, particularly in targeting the Wnt pathway and its associated networks. Overall, the study of APCDD1 as a recombinant protein presents a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of its biological roles and therapeutic applications in oncology.
