简介
The THBS1 protein is a member of the thrombospondin family and plays a key role in cell-matrix interactions, angiogenesis, and tissue remodeling.THBS1 is known for its multi-receptor binding, including integrins and CD36, regulating signaling pathways related to cell adhesion, migration and survival.THBS1 Protein, Mouse (His) is the recombinant mouse-derived THBS1 protein, expressed by E.coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.
- Application
-
Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Mouse THBS1 at 2 μg/mL can bind Biotinylated Mouse Decorin (HY-P70021). The ED50 for this effect is <0.4 μg/mL. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Mouse THBS1 is coated at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Mouse Decorin. The ED50 for this effect is 0.3512 μg/mL.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
THBS1 (Thrombospondin-1) is a multi-functional glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and angiogenesis. It is known to influence the extracellular matrix and modulate interactions between cells and their environment. Research into THBS1 has gained momentum due to its implications in numerous physiological and pathological conditions, such as wound healing, cancer progression, and cardiovascular diseases. The protein functions as a mediator of various signaling pathways, notably in tumorigenesis and immune responses, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Recombinant THBS1 proteins have been developed to investigate the specific roles it plays in these processes and to explore their potential applications in clinical settings. The ability to produce and characterize recombinant THBS1 allows researchers to dissect its structure-function relationships, as well as to study its interactions with other proteins and cellular components. Understanding THBS1's mechanisms can lead to the identification of novel biomarkers and the development of innovative treatments for diseases associated with dysregulation of this protein. Overall, the study of THBS1 recombinant proteins holds great promise for advancing our understanding of complex biological systems and improving disease management.
