Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-B (PDGFB) is a crucial member of the PDGF family, involved in various cellular processes such as cell growth, survival, and angiogenesis. Its role is particularly significant in wound healing and tissue regeneration, where it stimulates the proliferation and migration of fibroblasts and smooth muscle cells. Research has focused on PDGFB due to its implications in pathological conditions such as cancer, fibrosis, and cardiovascular diseases, where PDGFB signaling can contribute to tumorigenesis and tissue remodeling. Recombinant PDGFB protein has emerged as a valuable tool in both fundamental and applied research, facilitating investigations into its signaling pathways and biological activities. Furthermore, understanding PDGFB's mechanism has potential therapeutic applications, such as in developing treatments for chronic wounds and tissue engineering. In addition, the modulation of PDGFB activity could offer new avenues for cancer therapies by targeting its signaling pathways to inhibit tumor growth and metastasis. As a result, PDGFB recombinant protein is not only essential for elucidating the biology of growth factor signaling but also represents a promising candidate for novel therapeutic strategies in regenerative medicine and oncology.
