Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CKAP4, or Cytoskeleton-Associated Protein 4, is a membrane protein that has gained attention due to its pivotal role in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. Recent studies have revealed that CKAP4 is not only integral to maintaining cytoskeletal integrity but also plays a critical role in cancer progression and metastasis. Its expression levels have been correlated with tumor aggressiveness in several malignancies, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Additionally, CKAP4 has been implicated in modulating cellular responses to environmental stressors and in influencing the behavior of immune cells. Recombinant CKAP4 protein has become a valuable tool for researchers aiming to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions within the cellular context. By producing CKAP4 in a recombinant form, scientists can conduct in vitro studies to investigate its biochemical properties, explore its role in motility and invasion, and assess its potential as a therapeutic target. As research progresses, understanding CKAP4's complex involvement in cellular dynamics promises to contribute significantly to cancer biology and the development of innovative therapeutic strategies.
