Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDY1 (Chromodomain Y-like 1) is a gene expressed in male germ cells, playing a crucial role in spermatogenesis and spermatid development. Its protein product is involved in chromatin remodeling and gene regulation, making it essential for male fertility. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of CDY1 as a marker for testicular function and its implication in reproductive health disorders. Given the increasing rates of male infertility, understanding the molecular mechanisms of CDY1 could provide insights into novel therapeutic approaches. Researchers are focusing on the production of recombinant CDY1 protein to explore its functional characteristics and interactions with other proteins involved in spermiogenesis. This recombinant protein can be used in various assays to investigate its role in chromatin dynamics and its regulation of gene expression in germ cells. Additionally, studying the structure-function relationship of CDY1 through recombinant technologies may unravel its involvement in infertility-related conditions and could pave the way for targeted treatments or interventions to enhance male fertility. Hence, the exploration of CDY1 recombinant protein emphasizes its significance in reproductive biology and has the potential to contribute significantly to male reproductive health research.
