Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AKAP1 (A-kinase anchoring protein 1) is a critical protein involved in the spatial and temporal regulation of protein kinase A (PKA) signaling within cells. It plays a pivotal role in anchoring PKA to specific cellular compartments, thereby influencing various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. The study of AKAP1 is particularly relevant in understanding its implications in cardiovascular diseases and neuronal signaling, where dysregulation of PKA pathways can lead to pathological conditions. Recombinant AKAP1 proteins are often utilized in research to elucidate their structure-function relationships and to investigate how they interact with PKA as well as other signaling molecules. Advances in recombinant protein technology enable the production of AKAP1 in various expression systems, facilitating the study of its functional domains and post-translational modifications. Investigating AKAP1 and its interactions at a molecular level provides insights into the complex signaling networks within cells, potentially leading to the development of therapeutic interventions targeting related signaling pathways in various diseases. Understanding AKAP1's role in health and disease can contribute to novel strategies in drug design and biomedicine.
