Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KRT19, or keratin 19, is a type of intermediate filament protein primarily expressed in epithelial tissues, and plays a significant role in maintaining cellular structure and integrity. It is particularly notable in the context of epithelial carcinomas, where its expression patterns can serve as a valuable biomarker for tumor diagnosis and prognosis. Research has shown that KRT19 is involved in various cellular processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Abnormal expression or mutation of KRT19 has been linked to aggressive tumor behavior and metastatic potential in cancers such as breast, lung, and liver. The development of recombinant KRT19 proteins has emerged as a crucial tool for further understanding its biological functions and interactions. These recombinant proteins are utilized in various applications, including the study of epithelial cell biology, cancer research, and potential therapeutic strategies. By mimicking natural KRT19 in a controlled laboratory environment, researchers can investigate its role in disease mechanisms and potential interventions, making KRT19 a focus in both basic and applied biomedical research.
