The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1 (FGFR1) is a key player in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. As a member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor family, FGFR1 is involved in important signaling pathways that regulate developmental processes and tissue homeostasis. Aberrant FGFR1 signaling has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as various cancers, where mutations or overexpression of the receptor contribute to tumorigenesis. Due to its central role in disease, FGFR1 has emerged as a compelling target for therapeutic interventions. The development of FGFR1 recombinant proteins is crucial for understanding its structure-function relationships and for aiding drug discovery efforts. These recombinant proteins enable researchers to elucidate the mechanisms of FGFR1 signaling and to investigate interactions with potential small-molecule inhibitors or monoclonal antibodies, which can block aberrant signaling pathways. Furthermore, FGFR1 proteins can be utilized in the screening of new therapeutic agents and for the development of diagnostic tools. Therefore, the study of FGFR1 recombinant proteins not only advances our fundamental understanding of FGFR1 biology but also facilitates the translation of this knowledge into clinical applications for treating FGFR1-related diseases. Overall, the research surrounding FGFR1 recombinant proteins serves as a critical component in the ongoing quest to target this receptor effectively and to improve therapeutic outcomes for patients suffering from FGFR1-associated malignancies and disorders.
