简介
Tau/0N3R protein is encoded by the Tau/0N3R gene and undergoes regulated alternative splicing to produce different mRNA species. Its expression varies in the nervous system according to the maturation and type of neurons.Fetal-tau/0N3R Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived Fetal-tau/0N3R protein, expressed by E.coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fetal-tau/0N3R recombinant protein has gained significant attention in recent years due to its relevance in understanding neurodegenerative diseases, particularly tauopathies such as Alzheimer's disease. Tau is a microtubule-associated protein that plays a critical role in stabilizing microtubules in neurons. Abnormal hyperphosphorylation of tau leads to the formation of neurofibrillary tangles, which are hallmark features of various neurodegenerative conditions. The fetal-tau isoform, characterized by the absence of specific microtubule-binding regions (3-repeat domain), exhibits unique properties that may influence its interactions within the cellular environment. Studies exploring the functionality and dynamics of the fetal-tau/0N3R isoform aim to uncover mechanisms underlying tau pathology and its potential role in neural development and function. Utilizing recombinant techniques allows researchers to produce this specific isoform for experimental purposes, facilitating investigations into its structural and functional characteristics. By elucidating its role in cellular processes and neurodegeneration, research on fetal-tau/0N3R may ultimately contribute to the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic tools for tau-related disorders.
