  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MEMO1 (Miscellaneous EGF-like Module-containing protein 1) is a member of the EGF-like domain-containing protein family and has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its role in various cellular processes, including cell migration, adhesion, and signaling pathways. Initially identified in the context of cancer research, MEMO1 has been implicated in promoting tumor progression and metastasis through its interaction with key molecular players in these processes. Studies have shown that MEMO1 can regulate the activity of Rho family GTPases, which are critical for cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular motility. Furthermore, the expression of MEMO1 is often upregulated in several types of cancer, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for tumorigenesis and a target for therapeutic intervention. Recent research has also illuminated its involvement in non-cancerous conditions, such as tissue repair and development, indicating its broader biological significance. The recombinant production of MEMO1 protein not only facilitates the elucidation of its functional mechanisms but also aids in the development of targeted drugs or diagnostic tools. Understanding the structure and function of MEMO1 is crucial for unraveling its roles in health and disease, making it a valuable focus for ongoing research in cellular biology and oncology.
