简介
The NLRP3 protein acts as a sensor in the NLRP3 inflammasome, which is activated in response to membrane defects. It forms a complex with CASP1 and PYCARD/ASC, promotes the release of IL1B, IL18 and GSDMD, and induces pyroptosis. NLRP3 Protein, Human (1-536a.a, His) is the recombinant human-derived NLRP3 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NLRP3 (Nod-like receptor protein 3) is a critical component of the innate immune system, playing a pivotal role in the activation of the inflammasome, a multiprotein complex involved in the immune response to various pathogens and cellular stressors. Research into NLRP3 has surged due to its association with a range of inflammatory diseases, including gout, type 2 diabetes, and Alzheimer's disease. The activation of NLRP3 is triggered by several stimuli, including damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) and pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs), leading to the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines like IL-1β and IL-18. Given its significant role in mediating inflammation, NLRP3 has become a prime target for therapeutic interventions aimed at modulating immune responses. Recombinant NLRP3 proteins have been developed to study its structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms in detail. By utilizing these proteins, researchers can investigate the conformational changes that occur upon activation, the interactions with other inflammasome components, and the effects of potential inhibitors or modulating compounds. Understanding the intricate pathways governing NLRP3 activation is crucial for developing novel therapeutic strategies to combat various inflammatory diseases and associated conditions, highlighting the importance of recombinant protein studies in advancing our knowledge of immune regulation.
