稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Mucin-2 (MUC2) is a major component of the protective mucosal barrier in the gastrointestinal tract, playing a critical role in maintaining gut homeostasis and protecting the epithelium from pathogens and toxins. It is a gel-forming mucin that contributes to the formation of mucus layers, thus facilitating lubrication and playing a vital role in immune responses. Research on recombinant MUC2 protein has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications in gastrointestinal diseases, including ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and colorectal cancer. The production of recombinant MUC2 allows for the detailed study of its structure-function relationships and the investigation of its immunological properties. Furthermore, recombinant MUC2 can serve as a valuable tool for developing mucus-targeted drug delivery systems and diagnostic assays, as well as for improving our understanding of the pathological mechanisms underlying mucosal diseases. As such, exploring recombinant MUC2 not only provides insights into its biological functions but also opens new avenues for innovative therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring mucosal integrity and promoting gut health.
