Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SSRP1 (Structural Maintenance of Chromosomes 1) is a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly in chromatin dynamics and DNA repair mechanisms. As a component of the FACT (Facilitates Chromatin Transcription) complex, SSRP1 plays a significant role in the remodeling of nucleosomes, facilitating transcription and replication by unwinding chromatin structure. This function is vital for maintaining genomic stability and proper gene expression. Dysregulation of SSRP1 has been associated with various pathological conditions, including cancer, where altered chromatin dynamics can lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation and genomic instability. Recent studies have focused on the biochemical properties and structural features of SSRP1, aiming to understand its interactions with other chromatin-associated proteins and its role in tumorigenesis. Researchers are particularly interested in developing SSRP1 as a potential therapeutic target, considering its integral role in maintaining proper cellular functions. By understanding the mechanisms underpinning SSRP1's function, scientists hope to reveal new insights into chromatin biology and its implications in cancer and other diseases.
