Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB17 is a member of the RAS oncogene family, primarily involved in intracellular vesicle trafficking and sorting processes. Research has shown that RAB17 plays a crucial role in various cellular functions, including endocytosis, exocytosis, and the maintenance of cellular morphology. Its expression is particularly noteworthy in epithelial tissues, where it influences the transport of proteins and lipids essential for cell polarization and function. Studies have indicated that alterations in RAB17 expression levels are associated with several pathological conditions, including cancer, where it may contribute to tumor progression and metastasis by altering the cellular microenvironment. Additionally, RAB17's involvement in the immune response suggests that it may play a role in inflammatory diseases. Given its critical functions and implications in disease, the production of RAB17 recombinant proteins enables researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular components, and potential as a therapeutic target. By better understanding RAB17's mechanisms, scientists aim to explore its potential roles in disease processes and develop strategies for intervention, highlighting the significance of studying this protein in both basic and applied research contexts.
