Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interferon alpha 8 (IFNa8) is a type of cytokine that plays a crucial role in the immune response against viral infections and tumor growth. As a member of the interferon alpha family, IFNa8 is produced by various cells in response to pathogen exposure, particularly viruses. Research into IFNa8 has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications in treating viral diseases, autoimmune disorders, and certain cancers. Studies suggest that IFNa8 can induce an antiviral state in neighboring cells, enhancing the host's immune response. Furthermore, its unique receptor binding properties and signaling pathways may offer insights into developing novel immunomodulatory therapies. The production and characterization of recombinant IFNa8 have become vital for understanding its biological functions and mechanisms of action. In recent years, advances in molecular biology techniques have enabled researchers to produce recombinant IFNa8 with high purity and activity, facilitating the exploration of its pharmacological properties. Ongoing research aims to elucidate the role of IFNa8 in diverse biological processes, assess its effectiveness as a therapeutic agent, and understand its potential side effects and optimal dosage regimens. Overall, IFNa8 stands out as a promising candidate for developing innovative treatment strategies, highlighting the importance of continued investigation into its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
