Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TMEM219/IGFBP-3R is an important protein that has garnered attention due to its role in cellular signaling and regulation of various biological processes, particularly in the context of cancer. Research has highlighted its involvement in modulating the activity of insulin-like growth factors (IGFs), which are crucial for cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. IGFBP-3R, as a receptor for insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3), is implicated in the regulation of IGF-dependent and independent signaling pathways that can influence tumor growth and metastasis. Furthermore, TMEM219 is associated with cellular transport and membrane dynamics, which may play a role in the transduction of growth factor signals. Investigating the recombinant protein of TMEM219/IGFBP-3R not only aids in understanding its specific functions in normal physiology but also its potential pathological roles in cancer and other diseases. By studying this protein, researchers aim to elucidate its mechanisms of action and explore its potential as a therapeutic target, which could open new avenues for cancer treatment and improve clinical outcomes.
