DTD1

简介
The DTD1 protein, as a potential ATPase, may participate in DNA replication by helping to load CDC45 onto the prereplication complex. In addition, it can also act as an aminoacyl-tRNA editing enzyme, specifically deacylating erroneous D-aminoacyl-tRNA and erroneous glycyl-tRNA (Ala). DTD1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived DTD1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of DTD1 (dihydropteridine reductase) recombinant protein has gained significance in the field of biochemical research due to its crucial role in the metabolism of folate and the synthesis of neurotransmitters. DTD1 is an enzyme involved in the regeneration of tetrahydrobiopterin, a vital cofactor necessary for the hydroxylation of aromatic amino acids and the production of nitric oxide. Deficiencies or malfunctions in this enzyme have been linked to various metabolic disorders, including phenylketonuria and certain neurological conditions, emphasizing the need for in-depth understanding of its structure and function. Recombinant protein technology allows for the expression and purification of DTD1 in heterologous systems, providing a platform for detailed kinetic and structural studies. This approach facilitates investigations into the enzyme's catalytic mechanisms and interactions with potential substrates and inhibitors. Furthermore, characterizing DTD1 can pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring balance in folate metabolism and mitigating the associated pathologies. Overall, the investigation of DTD1 as a recombinant protein not only enhances our comprehension of fundamental biochemical processes but also opens avenues for translational applications in medicine and biotechnology.
