Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLAC9, or placentin 9, is a protein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential roles in reproductive biology and cancer progression. This protein is highly expressed in the placenta during pregnancy, suggesting a critical function in fetal development and maternal-fetal interactions. Research indicates that PLAC9 may be involved in various cellular processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and immune modulation, which are vital for maintaining a healthy pregnancy. In addition to its implications in reproductive health, emerging studies have linked PLAC9 to tumor biology, where it appears to play a role in the survival and growth of certain cancer types. The understanding of PLAC9's functional mechanisms is still in its infancy, which presents an exciting avenue for further investigation. Recombinant PLAC9 protein has become a valuable tool for scientists seeking to elucidate its biological roles and therapeutic potential. By producing and studying this protein in vitro and in vivo, researchers aim to clarify its involvement in physiological processes and disease states, potentially leading to novel biomarkers or therapeutic targets in both reproductive health and oncology. As knowledge about PLAC9 expands, it may contribute to advancements in treatment strategies for pregnancy-related complications and certain cancers, highlighting the importance of continued research in this intriguing area of study.
