PIK3IP1
-
简介
The PIK3IP1 protein binds to the catalytic subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase. It negatively regulates phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase activity and signaling. PIK3IP1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived PIK3IP1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PIK3IP1 (Phosphoinositide 3-Kinase Interacting Protein 1) is an important regulator of the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) signaling pathway, which is crucial for various cellular processes, including growth, proliferation, and survival. Overactivation of PI3K signaling has been implicated in numerous diseases, especially cancer, making PIK3IP1 a potential target for therapeutic interventions. This protein acts as a negative regulator of PI3K activity, modulating cell signaling by inhibiting the pathway in response to external stimuli. The understanding of PIK3IP1's function is critical for elucidating its role in tumorigenesis and other pathological conditions. Recent studies have highlighted its potential in enhancing the efficacy of cancer therapies by counteracting PI3K pathway hyperactivation. Recombinant PIK3IP1 protein has been produced to facilitate detailed biochemical and biophysical studies, helping to characterize its interactions and functional mechanisms. This research aims to advance our understanding of PIK3IP1's role in cellular signaling and explore its implications in disease models, ultimately contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting the PI3K pathway. As researchers continue to investigate the implications of PIK3IP1 in various cellular contexts, the insights gained from recombinant protein studies could pave the way for innovative approaches to treat PI3K-related diseases.
