  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

RNASET2 (Ribonuclease T2) is an important member of the RNase T2 family, which plays a critical role in RNA metabolism and degradation in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms. Its primary function involves the cleavage of RNA molecules, contributing to various cellular processes, including RNA turnover, regulation of gene expression, and antiviral responses. The study of RNASET2 is particularly significant due to its potential implications in health and disease, including its involvement in cancer progression and response to viral infections. Recent research has increasingly focused on the characterization and functional analysis of recombinant RNASET2 proteins to better understand their structural properties and enzymatic mechanisms. This recombinant protein study allows scientists to investigate the enzyme's activity, substrate specificity, and interactions with other biomolecules under controlled laboratory conditions. Furthermore, advancing our understanding of RNASET2 can lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting RNA metabolism in various diseases, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in clinical applications. By generating and analyzing recombinant RNASET2, researchers aim to unravel the complexities of RNA-related processes, contributing to broader insights into cellular regulation and the development of targeted therapeutics.
