简介
IKB beta/NFKBIB protein effectively inhibits NF-kappa-B and prevents NF-kappa-B activation by forming a cytoplasmic complex. After cell stimulation, the non-phosphorylated form is resynthesized, binds to NF-kappa-B, aids nuclear transport, and protects NF-kappa-B from NFKBIA-dependent inactivation. IKB beta/NFKBIB Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived IKB beta/NFKBIB protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IKB beta (NFKBIB) is an essential inhibitor of the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. The NF-κB family of transcription factors is involved in various physiological and pathological processes, including immune response, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of NF-κB signaling has been linked to numerous diseases, such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions. IKB beta functions as a key regulator by binding to NF-κB dimers in the cytoplasm, preventing their translocation to the nucleus and thereby inhibiting their transcriptional activity. Understanding the structure and function of IKB beta is vital for elucidating the mechanisms of NF-κB regulation and its implications in disease. The production of recombinant IKB beta proteins allows researchers to study its biochemical properties, interaction with NF-κB, and the effects of post-translational modifications. This research can lead to potential therapeutic targets for modulating NF-κB activity in various diseases, providing insights that may foster the development of novel anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer therapies. Thus, the generation and characterization of IKB beta/NFKBIB recombinant proteins are pivotal for advancing our understanding of this critical regulatory pathway.
