稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Kallikrein-6 (KLK6) is a member of the kallikrein-related peptidase family, which is known to play crucial roles in various physiological processes, including tissue homeostasis, inflammation, and neurodegeneration. Research has indicated that KLK6 is overexpressed in several types of cancers, especially in ovarian and prostate cancers, making it a potential biomarker for early detection and a target for therapeutic intervention. The enzyme is also involved in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, where it may affect amyloid precursor protein processing and tau phosphorylation, contributing to the pathogenesis of these conditions. Its multifunctional properties, including proteolytic activity, have spurred interest in developing KLK6 as a therapeutic target and diagnostic tool. Recombinant KLK6 proteins have been produced to facilitate studies on its biological functions, mechanisms of action, and interactions with other molecules. Understanding KLK6's role in disease processes could lead to novel approaches in diagnosis and treatment. As such, the study of KLK6 recombinant proteins is gaining momentum, aiming to unlock the therapeutic potential and clarify the enzyme's involvement in various pathological conditions.
