简介
REG-3 beta/REG3B Protein, a bactericidal C-type lectin, combats intestinal Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, except S.typhimurium.It inhibits S.enteritidis translocation, safeguarding against infection.Beyond antibacterial action, REG-3 beta functions hormonally, activating EXTL3 receptor for cell-specific signaling. In the pancreas, it notably stimulates cell proliferation.REG-3 beta/REG3B Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived REG-3 beta/REG3B protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
REG3B, also known as Regenerating Protein 3 Beta, is a member of the Reg family of proteins, which are important in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, cellular regeneration, and cancer. Specifically, REG3B is primarily expressed in the pancreas and gut, where it plays a crucial role in the innate immune response by exhibiting antimicrobial properties against various pathogens. Its expression is typically upregulated during tissue repair and regeneration after injury, highlighting its potential role in wound healing and inflammatory responses. Research has increasingly focused on the therapeutic potential of REG3B, particularly in gastrointestinal diseases and conditions characterized by impaired healing processes, such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and pancreatic disorders. Studies have shown that REG3B can modulate microbial flora and enhance mucosal defense mechanisms, making it a candidate for further exploration in developing novel treatments aimed at promoting intestinal health and regeneration. Additionally, understanding the signaling pathways and regulatory mechanisms governing REG3B expression could provide insights into its broader implications in disease states, including cancer, where its role may influence tumor progression and the immune microenvironment. As a recombinant protein, REG3B holds promise for both basic research and potential clinical applications, opening avenues for innovative strategies in disease management and therapeutic interventions.
