简介
The IRAK4 protein is a serine/threonine protein kinase that is critical for initiating the innate immune response through the Toll-like receptor (TLR) and IL-1R signaling pathways. After TLR is activated, it rapidly forms the Myddosome with IRAK2. IRAK4 Protein, Human (307a.a, sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived IRAK4, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with His labeled tag. ,

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IRAK4 (Interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 4) is a crucial signaling molecule in the immune response, primarily involved in the Toll-like receptor (TLR) and interleukin-1 receptor (IL-1R) pathways. The activation of IRAK4 triggers a cascade of downstream signaling events that lead to the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, playing a vital role in innate immunity. Dysregulation of IRAK4 has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammatory conditions, and even cancer, highlighting its importance as a target for therapeutic intervention. Recent studies have shown that IRAK4 is essential for the viability of certain cancer cells, making it a promising target for drug development. Additionally, the exploration of IRAK4 as a biomarker for inflammatory diseases has gained traction, as its expression levels correlate with disease severity in several conditions. Given its critical function and involvement in various pathologies, the development of recombinant IRAK4 proteins for research is of significant interest. Such studies aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms governing IRAK4 activity, assess its potential as a therapeutic target, and explore its role in the broader context of immune regulation. Understanding the structural and functional characteristics of recombinant IRAK4 can pave the way for novel treatments and biomarkers that could improve patient outcomes in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. As research continues to advance, IRAK4 stands out as a pivotal player in immune signaling pathways, making its investigation a vital endeavor in modern biomedical research.
