稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD117, also known as c-KIT, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. It is essential for the development of hematopoietic stem cells, germ cells, and interstitial cells of Cajal in the gastrointestinal tract. Mutations or dysregulation of the c-KIT gene are implicated in several cancers, such as gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) and melanoma, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Recombinant c-KIT protein has been developed to study its structural and functional properties, as well as to explore its implications in signaling pathways associated with cancer progression and therapy resistance. Research utilizing recombinant c-KIT aims to elucidate the mechanisms underlying its activation and the impact of specific mutations on its function. This information is critical for the design of targeted therapies, such as imatinib, which inhibit c-KIT activity in affected tumors. Furthermore, the recombinant protein serves as a valuable tool for the development of diagnostic assays and the study of c-KIT's role in normal and pathological conditions. Overall, the investigation of CD117/c-KIT recombinant protein is an essential area of research with implications in cancer biology, therapeutic development, and personalized medicine.
