Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIPK4 (Homeodomain-Interacting Protein Kinase 4) is a member of the HIPK family of serine/threonine kinases, which play crucial roles in various cellular processes, including transcriptional regulation, signal transduction, and cell cycle control. Despite its significance, the functional mechanisms of HIPK4 remain poorly understood compared to other kinases in the family. Research has shown that HIPK4 is involved in the regulation of cellular responses to stress and may influence cancer progression and apoptosis. The identification and characterization of HIPK4 recombinant proteins are essential for elucidating its biological functions and interactions with other cellular components. By producing these proteins, researchers can explore HIPK4’s role in various signaling pathways, assess its kinase activity, and investigate potential post-translational modifications. Moreover, HIPK4 may serve as a promising therapeutic target, making its study relevant for developing novel cancer treatment strategies. The generation of high-purity recombinant HIPK4 proteins will facilitate biochemical assays, structural studies, and potential drug screening efforts, ultimately advancing our understanding of its role in health and disease.
