简介
The NPTX1 protein may mediate synaptic processes and may be involved in the uptake of synaptic substances during synaptic remodeling or the clustering of AMPA glutamate receptors at specific excitatory synapses. Its involvement suggests a role in dynamic regulation of synaptic structure and function. NPTX1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived NPTX1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NPTX1 (Neuronal Pentraxin 1) is a critical protein involved in synaptic transmission and plasticity, playing a significant role in neuronal communication and the formation of synapses. Its importance has gained attention in the context of various neurodegenerative diseases and psychiatric disorders, as alterations in its expression and function are associated with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia. Research on NPTX1 recombinant protein has been driven by the need to better understand its molecular mechanisms and interactions within neuronal networks. Producing NPTX1 as a recombinant protein facilitates detailed biochemical studies, allowing researchers to investigate its role in synaptic modulation and neuroinflammation. By examining its structure, binding properties, and functional implications in vitro, scientists hope to elucidate how NPTX1 contributes to synaptic health and disease pathology. Furthermore, insights gained from NPTX1 research may pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting synaptic dysfunction in neurodegenerative and psychiatric conditions. As such, NPTX1 serves as a promising candidate for therapeutic intervention and a valuable biomarker for understanding the complexities of neuronal health and disease.
