简介
The CK1d protein is an important serine/threonine protein kinase that complexly controls cellular processes such as Wnt signaling, DNA repair, and circadian rhythms. Its versatility is evident in phosphorylating a variety of proteins, including connexin-43/GJA1, MAP1A, p53/TP53, and YAP1. CK1d Protein, Human (sf9, GST) is the recombinant human-derived CK1d protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with N-GST labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CK1d (Casein kinase 1 delta) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, circadian rhythm, and Wnt signaling pathways. Its significance has been highlighted in numerous studies, particularly in the context of cancer, where abnormal CK1d activity has been implicated in tumorigenesis and progression. Research has shown that CK1d can phosphorylate a number of substrates, which influences diverse signaling cascades and cellular responses. The development of CK1d recombinant proteins has become essential for understanding its molecular mechanisms and interactions with key regulatory proteins. By generating and purifying CK1d in a recombinant form, scientists can conduct in vitro assays to explore its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and the effects of potential inhibitors. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of CK1d at a molecular level is crucial for identifying novel therapeutic targets and drug development, particularly in oncology, where CK1d inhibitors may provide promising avenues for treatment. Ongoing research continues to unravel the complexities of CK1d's role in health and disease, highlighting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target in various pathological conditions.
