简介
PARM-1 Protein is a highly glycosylated, mucin-like type 1 transmembrane protein primarily located at the plasma membrane and in the endocytic pathway. PARM-1 is also a pro-proliferative and anti-apoptotic glycoprotein involved in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress response, and its presence in most human tissues with especially high expression in heart, kidney and placenta. PARM-1 may regulate TLP1 expression and telomerase activity, thus enabling certain prostatic cells to resist apoptosis. PARM-1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PARM-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PARM-1 (Proline-Arginine Rich Membrane Associated Protein 1) is a novel protein that has garnered considerable attention in the field of molecular biology and cellular research due to its unique structure and functional properties. Research on PARM-1 has emerged from investigations into membrane-associated proteins and their roles in cellular processes such as signal transduction, cytoskeletal organization, and gene expression regulation. Initial studies suggested that PARM-1 is involved in key physiological processes, including cell migration and adhesion, which are critical in understanding various biological phenomena, such as development, wound healing, and immune responses. Furthermore, aberrations in PARM-1 expression have been linked to several pathological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of PARM-1 allows for in-depth studies of its functional role and interactions with other cellular components, facilitating a clearer understanding of its contribution to cellular homeostasis and disease mechanisms. As researchers continue to explore the biological significance of PARM-1, its potential applications in biotechnology and medicine are becoming increasingly evident, positioning it as a protein of interest in both basic and applied research.
