PITHD1

简介
The PITHD1 protein is a key regulator of cell dynamics, specifically promoting megakaryocyte differentiation by upregulating RUNX1 expression. It does this by activating the proximal promoter of the RUNX1 gene and enhancing the translational activity of the internal ribosome entry site (IRES) element. PITHD1 Protein, Human (Myc, His) is the recombinant human-derived PITHD1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His, C-Myc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PITHD1, or phosphoinositide- and glycoprotein-interacting protein 1, is a relatively novel protein that has garnered attention in the field of molecular biology and cancer research. Emerging studies suggest that PITHD1 may play a crucial role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cellular proliferation, and apoptosis. Its expression has been implicated in oncogenic pathways, raising questions about its potential as a biomarker for certain cancers. Research has shown that alterations in PITHD1 expression correlate with disease progression in several malignancies, making it a candidate for therapeutic targeting. Additionally, PITHD1's interaction with phosphoinositides suggests it may influence membrane trafficking and cellular signaling pathways, further emphasizing its biological significance. Understanding the structure and function of PITHD1 could provide insights into its role in tumor biology and potential therapeutic applications. This has sparked interest in developing studies focused on the characterization of PITHD1, exploring its molecular mechanisms, and assessing its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker in cancer treatment. Continued research into PITHD1 could pave the way for novel strategies in cancer therapy and improve our understanding of tumorogenesis at a molecular level.
