简介
AIF1 protein influences macrophage activation, modulating immune response and cellular activities. Its involvement implies broader influence on immune regulation and inflammation. Studying AIF1's mechanisms in macrophage activation can provide insights into its role in immune homeostasis and signaling pathways governing macrophage functions. AIF1 Protein, Bovine (N-His, C-Myc) is the recombinant bovine-derived AIF1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-Myc, N-10*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AIF1, or Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1, is a protein that plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in macrophage activation and inflammation. It is primarily expressed in immune and inflammatory cells, where it is involved in various physiological processes, including tissue repair and homeostasis. Research has shown that AIF1 is upregulated in response to inflammatory stimuli and is implicated in several pathological conditions, such as autoimmune diseases and neurodegenerative disorders. The interest in AIF1 as a potential therapeutic target has led to a growing focus on the development of recombinant AIF1 proteins for functional studies and therapeutic applications. These recombinant proteins allow for the exploration of AIF1's biological functions, its signaling pathways, and its interactions with other cellular components. By elucidating the mechanisms through which AIF1 influences immune responses and inflammation, researchers aim to uncover new strategies for modulating these processes in disease contexts. The study of AIF1 and its recombinant forms is thus crucial for advancing our understanding of immune regulation and developing novel treatments for inflammatory diseases.
