Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ASPN (asporin) is a small leucine-rich proteoglycan that plays a significant role in the extracellular matrix, particularly in connective tissues. Its expression is closely associated with various physiological and pathological processes, including tissue development, repair, and degeneration. Research indicates that ASPN is involved in modulating the activity of certain growth factors and cytokines, which are crucial for maintaining homeostasis in cartilage and bone. Additionally, aberrant expression of ASPN has been linked to osteoarthritis, intervertebral disc degeneration, and other musculoskeletal disorders. The recombinant production of ASPN protein offers a promising platform for elucidating its functional roles and potential therapeutic applications. By studying ASPN’s structure and mechanism of action, researchers aim to decipher its interactions within the extracellular matrix and identify how it influences cellular behavior. Furthermore, understanding the molecular pathways regulated by ASPN could lead to innovative approaches for treating related diseases and enhancing tissue engineering strategies. As a result, recombinant ASPN is gaining attention for its potential utility in regenerative medicine, making it a focal point for ongoing research into musculoskeletal health and disease.
