  • 简介

TGFBI Protein, a multifaceted regulator, plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, influencing diverse cellular processes. Its binding affinity for various collagens, such as type I, II, and IV, underscores its significance in mediating cellular responses and adhesion-related events. The protein's involvement in extracellular matrix interactions highlights its potential impact on cellular adhesion to different collagen types. TGFBI Protein, Human (HEK293, His, solution) is the recombinant human-derived TGFBI protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-10*His labeled tag.

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TGFBI (Transforming Growth Factor Beta Inducible) protein, also known as TGFBIp or beta ig-h3, is a secreted extracellular matrix protein that plays a critical role in cellular adhesion, migration, and tissue repair processes. It is notably induced by TGF-β, which links it to various physiological and pathological conditions, including fibrosis, cancer, and wound healing. Research into TGFBI has gained traction due to its involvement in diverse biological functions and its potential as a therapeutic target. Recent studies reveal its significance in ocular diseases, particularly corneal dystrophies, where mutations in the TGFBI gene can lead to abnormal protein accumulation and impaired vision. The recombinant TGFBI protein is being explored in various applications, including cell culture studies, functional assays, and therapeutic interventions. By generating TGFBI as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to better understand its structural characteristics and biological activities, ultimately contributing to the development of novel treatment strategies for TGFBI-related disorders. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underpinning TGFBI functions could reveal new insights into tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and the design of biomaterials that mimic its properties for enhanced healing and repair.
