  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

HNRNPA2B1 (heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1) is a crucial RNA-binding protein involved in various cellular processes, including pre-mRNA splicing, transport, and stability. This protein plays a significant role in the regulation of gene expression, influencing alternative splicing and mRNA stability in response to cellular signals. Dysregulation of HNRNPA2B1 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancers and neurodegenerative disorders, indicating its potential as a therapeutic target. Researchers study recombinant HNRNPA2B1 to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions with RNA and other cellular components. The production of this protein in a recombinant form allows for detailed structural and functional analyses, facilitating the investigation of its role in post-transcriptional regulation. Moreover, by understanding how HNRNPA2B1 modulates RNA dynamics, researchers hope to uncover novel pathways involved in disease pathology and identify new biomarkers or therapeutic strategies. The study of recombinantly expressed HNRNPA2B1 is essential for bridging the gap between basic research and clinical applications, offering insights into the complex interplay between RNA-binding proteins and their target RNAs in the context of cellular homeostasis and disease.
