稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, has a spike (S) glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in its infection mechanism by facilitating binding to the host cell receptor ACE2. Due to its central role in viral entry and immune response, the S glycoprotein is a primary target for vaccine development and therapeutic interventions. Research on recombinant S glycoprotein has gained significant attention, as it allows for the production of the protein in vitro, enabling detailed study of its structure, function, and interactions with neutralizing antibodies. Recombinant forms of the S glycoprotein can be used in serological assays to detect immune responses in vaccinated individuals or those who have recovered from COVID-19. Additionally, understanding the dynamics of the S glycoprotein assists in monitoring viral mutations, such as the emergence of variants, and evaluating vaccine efficacy. The development of recombinant S glycoprotein also facilitates the creation of novel vaccine platforms, including mRNA and viral vector vaccines, which have shown promising results in clinical trials. Overall, the study of recombinant SARS-CoV-2 S glycoprotein is essential to advance our understanding of the virus, enhance vaccine design, and inform public health strategies to combat the pandemic.
