Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the recombinant protein HLA-A*02:01 in conjunction with β2-microglobulin (B2M) and alpha-fetoprotein (AFP, specifically the peptide PLFQVPEPV) is grounded in the exploration of immune response mechanisms, particularly in cancer immunotherapy. HLA-A*02:01 is one of the most common human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles, playing a pivotal role in presenting tumor-associated antigens to cytotoxic T cells. AFP, often associated with liver cancer and other malignancies, serves as a potential target for immunotherapy due to its aberrant expression in tumors. The peptide PLFQVPEPV, derived from AFP, has been identified as a candidate for T-cell recognition, which is crucial for developing effective cancer vaccines. By recombining HLA-A*02:01 with B2M and the AFP peptide, researchers aim to create a stable and effective presentation complex that can elicit a robust cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) response against AFP-expressing tumors. This research not only aids in understanding the nuances of antigen presentation but also paves the way for innovative therapeutic approaches for AFP-positive cancers, highlighting the potential for personalized medicine in oncology.
